Don and Mariaelena Steiner originally founded Wings of Eagles International, Inc., in 1994 as a aviation ministry.  As a pilot, Don’s goal was to fly into Mexico and help existing mission works with air support.

We made our first flight in early 1996 to Latin American Missions with almost 1000 lbs of medicine. They operate a missionary outreach in Oaxaca, Mexico, one of the most remote areas of Mexico with 154 different people groups, of which about 50 are still classified as un-reached by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Founder Duane Kershner saw it as a sign and wonder that we could use the avenue of aviation to bring Christ and medicine into this area.

This began a 10-year work that resulted in medical outreaches across Oaxaca, and many other areas of Central America and the Caribbean. Thousands have received the Gospel, over 60 new churches planted and entire villages have accepted Christ.

NEW PARTNERSHIP - We have entered into a new partnership with our aviation branch of the ministry. By linking arms with two other mission aviation ministries we are establishing a base in Wauchula, Florida. The base will include maintenance facilities, transportation for mission trips, aircraft to be DONATED to missionaries, medical evacuations, medicine transport and a host of other aviation related services to missionaries.
